DEPARTMENT OF NURSING

The department of nursing strives to maintain the highest practical, physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of our patients and staff; plus, supporting and coordinating Patient and Family Centered Care with the goal of making our patients and their families have the most pleasant experience in the hospital setting.

Nurses are an integral part of the patient care team. Our nurses provide the best and most advanced Orthopaedic nursing care. The facility offers many career paths for registered nurses, ranging from nursing educators, patient and family education, nursing researches, Anesthetist and so on.

Whether you have many years of experience or have just completed your nursing degree, you can find a stimulating and rewarding nursing position. FOCOS is equipped with various wards; comprising a step down ward (2 Bed), Children’s Ward, 4 Bed Ward, Recovering room, Intensive Care Unit and an Urgent care (Emergency Care).

A stepdown ward, fully furnished to help post-operative patients, and critical patients in their recovery and rehabilitation. A Sixteen (16) bedded Children’s ward with adjoining multi-faceted recreational block to help in educating young patients who may be cut of school due to hospitalization. The hospital also has a spacious and well equipped wards known as the 4-bed for patient whose stay may be protracted for rehabilitation needs.

Also included in the nursing department is an ultra-modern Intensive Care unit with a state-of-the-art equipment for our patients and an Urgent Care unit, which provides emergency care. The department also boast of disciplined and customer service-oriented nurses who are always ready to work with patients in their recovery.

The various divisions of the department are headed by:
