FOCOS Hospital commissions 500KVA Stabilizer
On Wednesday, 14th June 2017, the CEO, Executives and Management of the FOCOS Orthopaedic Hospital commissioned a 500kva +/- 16 System Bellotti Power Stabilizer at the hospital.
This project was significantly funded by Wayne and Claire Heyland, who over the years have dedicated their time and resources to help the FOCOS Orthopaedic Hospital.
For quite a number of years now, power from the national grid has increasingly been unreliable and unstable. Fluctuations in power have led to the malfunctioning of several critical equipment with associated high cost of repairs, while others had to be replaced because they had become irreparable.With the stabilizer in place, equipment at the hospital would now have a longer lifespan and thereby allow available funds to be used for more direct patient care.
