FOCOS says goodbye to Dr. Elom
FOCOS Orthopaedic Hospital on Tuesday October 31, 2017,said goodbye to one of our esteemed doctors, Dr. Elom Atidepe upon her retirement from active service.
The event held at the hospital’s cafeteria saw the presence of medical and non-medical management and staff including our Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Mrs Leticia Osei-Poku .
Dr. Elom, was a very dedicated doctor who joined the hospital in 2012 as a Senior Medical Officer. At the time of her appointment, the hospital was going through its accreditation process for certification to operate and Dr. Elom was more than delighted to accept the challenge because she believed in the vision of FOCOS.
In her farewell speech, she expressed her sincere gratitude and pleasure to have worked with FOCOS Hospital. “I am so happy to have completed my service to FOCOS with such deep satisfaction and I also want to use this opportunity to encourage everyone to keep up the good work and never give up on the FOCOS vision,” Dr Elom said. She further commended the Nurses for their hard work and expressed her hope that they would emulate the selfless leadership of the Founder, CEO and President, Prof. Oheneba Boachie-Adjei.
Staff also took turns in giving their farewell messages to Dr. Elom. Members of staff as well as the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Mrs Leticia Osei-Poku gave their farewell messages in chronological order. The CAO congratulated and thanked Dr. Elom for her dedicated service to the hospital and advised staff to learn from Dr Elom’s work ethics.
“Words are inadequate to express our gratefulness and appreciation of the incomparable work performance and attitude you have displayed during your tenure with FOCOS. Saying goodbye is never easy, especially to someone who has been such a valued team member. We wish you all the best now and into the future,” said the CAO.
Management and staff of FOCOS wish Dr. Elom well in all her future endeavours.
