Howard University students visit FOCOS
A team from Howard University in Washington, D.C paid a courtesy visit to FOCOS Orthopaedic Hospital on Friday, 27th April, 2018 to familiarize with the activities and procedures of the Hospital. The team was made up of 17 students and 2 professors who were all members of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), a program which seeks to invest in the next generation of African leaders.
The primary aim of their visit was to gain and transfer knowledge. With this in mind, they organized a brief mentorship session to better inform the children about their future choices and career decisions.
