PHOTOS: Award-winning Ghanaian Musician Bisa K’dei visits children with scoliosis at FOCOS hospital
Multiple award winning singer Bisa Kdei visited the FOCOS Hospital in Accra to familiarize himself with the activities of the facility and the foundation.
The “Mansa” hitmaker interacted with Prof Oheneba Boachie-Adjei and some of the kids who need surgeries for scoliosis. This was prior to him performing at the first annual fundraiser organised in Ghana by FOCOS.
Scoliosis is a medical condition in which a person’s spine has a sideways curve. The curve is usually S or C. The cause of most cases is unknown but believed to genetic and environmental factors. Bisa Kdei shared pictures on his Instagram page with the caption. “I visited the FOCOS hospital to meet with Dr Boachie-Adjei and some of the amazing kids who need surgeries to stand tall again.”
Signed to Black Legendary Music, Bisa KDei, 30, has been active in Ghana’s music industry since 2012, is best known for his 2015 hits Mansa and Brother Brother, and has reportedly recorded with HKN Gang frontman Davido. He’s reigning VGMA Highlife Artist of the Year, and has two albums to his credit.
He’s winner of three VGMA awards, and has been associated with elite colleagues including Efya, Castro, Fuse ODG, Kwaw Kese, Sarkodie, Daddy Lumba, and Becca among others.
