Gertrude Baiden is a self-motivated and dedicated nurse, with over 10 years post qualification experience in nursing. Her area of specialty is in critical care nursing where she brings to the fore her skills and expertise in the management of patients with life-threatening conditions in the peri-operative period of their stay in the hospital.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing, and post qualification specialty degree in critical care. Presently, as the deputy director of nursing, she is inspired to lead her team of nurses in the provision of safe quality care to patients and their families.
As a young, passionate nurse who loves what she does, she aspires to be one of the best nurse leaders to lead her team to achieve the optimum nursing care, believing and relating to words by Steve Jobs that “Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. The only way to do great work is to love what you do”.
She loves to read, listen to good music, cook and swim during her leisure times.
