Harriet Gyamfuah Adu-Amoah joined FOCOS hospital in December 2012. Her primary role is to oversee the diet therapy and food service units in providing evidenced based and high standard of practice in nutrition and food safety. Harriet works together with her team and other health professionals to ensure that patients have the right medical nutrition therapy, nutritious and safe foods during their stay or visit to the hospital.
Harriet holds a BSc. Biological Sciences degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and an MPhil in Dietetics from University of Ghana. Prior to joining FOCOS she worked at Okomfo Anokye teaching hospital as a dietetic intern.
She is a clinical tutor for the department of Dietetics University of Ghana and has two publications. Her passion for excellence in work delivery have been the reason for her many successes with her patients and students that pass through her department. She loves music, singing, and community work.
