Roland O. Akosah is the co-founder and CEO of ENO International, LLC, a firm that invests in finance and banking, digital financial services and plantation agriculture.
Prior to striking off as an entrepreneur, in 1999, Roland had had careers, in the United States, with SallieMae (an education finance corporation), United Technologies (space and defense, automotive and building systems) and IBM Corporation; all of which are Fortune 500 multinationals. Roland has an MBA from Wharton, the University of Pennsylvania (1989) and a bachelor’s degree in economics and statistics from the University of Ghana (1984).
In addition to his investing activities, Roland runs a small gold trading company, TransGen Heritage Group – a family firm. He also serves on major for-profit companies, as well as non-profit establishments in Ghana.
He is a poet and a fellow of the Aspen Institute, which is dedicated to promoting humanistic values and the good society. Roland is married to Pearl. They have a ten-year old son, Nyamekye.
