Yaw Asamoah

Yaw Asamoah is a Managing Director and Head of Energy Equity Capital Markets at J.P. Morgan. Based in New York, he joined the bank in 1997 and currently leads the group that is responsible for raising equity capital for companies across the Energy sector. He has orchestrated and helped raise well over $200bn of capital for a broad range of Energy companies all over the world during his tenure at J.P. Morgan.

Yaw also currently sits on the J.P. Morgan Equity Commitments Committee, the body responsible for approving the firm’s involvement in all equity offering transactions. He is a graduate of Brown University, where hereceived a B.A. in Economics.
