Derrick Oppong

I was hit by a friend during a football match 2 years ago after which I became paralyzed and was wheelchair bound. I came to FOCOS for treatment and it has become my second home. The love and care and the professionalism in discharging their duties were just excellent. This experience I cannot explain with words. The assistance from the Doctors and all staff was overwhelming. Dr. Yankey, Dr. Ayitey, Dr. Sogah, Dr. Mensah, Dr. Adrah, these are the few I can recall among others who have done a lot for me.

Madam Deborah, Madam Pascalina, and Samuel have been good to me during my stay. Always checking on how well I am doing and providing me all that I needed to make my stay at the hospital very comfortable.

Currently I am recovering from the surgery and have in mind to continue my education and pursue my nursing career. I want to also express my heart felt gratitude to my sponsors from the US, the COHEN AND BLOOMBERG foundation for giving me a new life full of hope and to Dr Yankey and the entire FOCOS team.

From my experience at the hospital, I will always recommend FOCOS to family and friends.
