Dr. Benjamin Hayfron Blankson is a highly skilled orthopaedic surgeon with a sub-specialization in spine surgery. With experience in managing complex spinal conditions, degenerative spine surgery, trauma, and scoliosis, he has established himself as a leading expert in his field. 

Dr. Blankson’s impressive academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Ghana. He then pursued his Master of Medicine in Orthopaedics at the University of Cape Town (UCT), graduating with a distinction in his dissertation as well as being recognized as the Best Registrar in Orthopaedics for his graduating year. Furthermore, he completed a prestigious Spine Subspecialty Fellowship under the mentorship of Prof. Robert Dunn, an AO Spine recognized fellowship, solidifying his expertise in spine surgery.

As a Fellow of the College of Orthopaedic Surgeons of South Africa, Dr. Blankson has demonstrated his commitment to upholding the highest standards of orthopaedic care. His extensive training and experience have equipped him with the skills to tackle even the most complex spinal cases, utilizing cutting-edge techniques and technologies.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Blankson is passionate about advancing the field of orthopaedics through research and education. He actively participates in research studies, publishes in peer-reviewed journals, and presents at international conferences. Moreover, he is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons, sharing his expertise and experience to foster their growth and development.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Dr. Blankson is Christian, a devoted family man, married with two children. In his leisure time, he enjoys watching soccer and listening to classical music, finding solace in the beauty and harmony of these pursuits.
