KWADWO POKU YANKEY, MD is a consultant Neuro Surgeon. He completed his Neurosurgery fellowship with the West African College and Surgeons (WACS) in 2014 and undertook Fellowship training in Spine and Spine Deformity Surgery in 2015 under Prof. Oheneba Boachie-Adjei.

He is a member of the FOCOS Spine Research Study Group and is involved in numerous ongoing spine deformity studies. He has research interest in sagittal alignment and neurological outcomes following complex spine surgeries.

His main hobby is football: He is an ardent supporter of locally based Sekondi Hasacas Football club in Ghana.

He is a candidate member of the Scoliosis Research Society.
