At FOCOS Orthopaedic Hospital, we believe healthcare should never be a privilege but a right. FOCOS medical missions bring together dedicated teams of local and international volunteer surgeons, anaesthesiologists, nurses, and other specialists who provide free or highly subsidized care to patients with complex orthopaedic and spine conditions. Each mission is a blend of compassion, expertise, and teamwork where advanced surgical care meets the heart of service.
For many of our patients, these missions represent a new beginning. Individuals who once struggled with severe spine deformities, scoliosis, or joint problems regain the ability to walk, move, and live free from pain. Behind every successful surgery is a story of resilience and the shared belief that every person deserves the chance to stand tall again. Our missions are not just about performing surgeries; they’re about building capacity. Through hands-on collaboration, visiting medical teams and FOCOS professionals exchange skills, techniques, and innovative approaches that strengthen orthopaedic and spine care in Ghana and beyond.
