The Department of Nutrition & Dietetics at FOCOS Orthopedic Hospital is committed to providing the highest quality nutritional care. Department's Services

Malnutrition (both under and over nutrition) especially in children is one major health concern in sub Saharan Africa and predisposes the body to many risk factors. Our dietetic team works hand in hand with other interdisciplinary health care professionals to provide an all-inclusive nutritional care package for patients especially pediatric patients who are malnourished and also promote optimal surgical outcomes.

At FOCOS we help our patients to understand the need for the therapeutic diet which is prescribed by the doctors based on their clinical conditions. These diets are further modified in accordance to the progress of the patients by a qualified registered dietician. We help you to understand the nature of your disease and its dietary influence on its management on your body by preparing simple and easy diet plans for a healthy life style.
