FOCOS wins four medals at Glico games
FOCOS Orthopedic Hospital won four medals at the Glico Healthcare fun games held on Saturday November 24, 2018, at the Lizzy’s Sports Complex to climax their Customer Service Month.
The objective of the event was to bring together some of its cherished clients to compete for laurels. FOCOS Orthopedic Hospital and six other organizations namely Allianz, International SOS, Intertek, Glico Group, Goil and GIZ were invited to participate in nine different competitions. Games included: soccer, 100 metres race, dancing competition, sack race, lime and spoon, oware, draft, ludu and scrabble.
FOCOS excelled in four games at the end of the competition, with Andrew Essuman winning scrabble, Paschalina Adaamba taking the second position in ludu, Agnes Mshana and Samuel Asamoah taking the first position and second runner-up positions respectively in the dancing competition.
The FOCOS soccer team however, could not make it to the finals of the soccer competition but won their first match with a convincing 3 -1 performance over International SOS. The host also made away with wins in lime and spoon, sack race, and 100 metres race.
Notable personalities present at the event were the Executive Chairman Dr. Kwame Achampong-Kyei, Mr. Edward Forkuo Kyei the Managing Director, Maame Afriyie Boachie the Business Development Manager and other senior management staff of Glico Group.
