Dr. Pramod K. Sudarshan, an orthopedic spine surgeon from India is on a two-week academic visit to FOCOS Orthopedic Hospital.

He heard about FOCOS through the Scoliosis Research Society (SRS), when Prof. Oheneba Boachie-Adjei was President of the SRS and subsequently applied through the K2M FOCOS visiting surgeons program and was selected by Prof. Boachie.
“I will be assisting and observing Prof. Oheneba Boachie-Adjei during his complex spine surgeries, because I need some exposure in complex kyphoscoliosis procedures and his methods of surgery. I also hope this experience will enrich my knowledge and enhance my practice back in India,” Dr. Sudarshan said.
Dr. Sudarshan received his undergraduate degree from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS). He proceeded to do his Masters in Surgery (Orthopedics) at the Madurai Medical College, The Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Tamilnadu.
